  1. Boil 12 cups of water for steeping the dumplings.
  2. Cook the milk and cream of wheat stirring often till it is thickened. It should be quite thick. Set it aside to cool about 5 minutes.
  3. When the dough is cool to the touch knead in the eggs. Form into small dumplings about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  4. Add the dumplings to the boiling water and turn the heat down to low. Let them steep for 20 minutes.
